OccupyHelana is a nonviolent movement for accountability in the United States government. email: occupyhelena@gmail.com . We gather in solidarity with the ongoing protest in New York City, Occupy Wall Street, and the growing number of cities whose people will no longer sit back watching corporate and special interests run their government. We are citizens of the United States, and this country is ours. Our government is divided. We, the people, are united. We are the 99%.
hi my name is blue and i encourage my fellow comrades to email or call the oakland ca. mayors office and let him know that we are supportive of the occupy oakland movement and let him know that his nazi police actions will only make our movement stronger… maybe when surrounded by a million people…they will realize we are the government not you…power to the people… revolution now…. peace…..blue
The mayor of Oakland CA is actually a woman named Jean Quan, I agree it could be helpful for people to call her and express their feelings of injustice and outrage at the fascist acts that took place there.
Mrs. Quan has a very mixed reputation including serious speculation into the voting process during her election. Quan did issue a public apology for the police activity in Oakland, but she also was the one that called for the use of force there. Very schizophrenic..
Here’s a link to some info about Quan and her apology if anyone is interested:
