Now the Occupy movement has inspired people everywhere to take action in protest and a lot of us have realized there’s something we can do to fight back: close our accounts and move our money out of the big Wall Street banks and into community banks and credit unions.
Join us this Saturday morning at the Wells Fargo Bank – Reserve & Union Pacific Branch – for a rally and march. Time to let big banks know that we the 99% won’t stop moving forward by moving our money!
I’ve heard, from the tables at the POV and from a quiet dinner up at Shadows Keep, that Occupy will be making a world-wide Reawaken demonstration on May 1. Can anyone verify? Are there plans for Mizzoo?
May 1 is a Tuesday and I think the Missoula Center for Nonviolence will be making an appearance … but where? At one of the Mizzoo banks? At a house recently repossessed? At a home upon which the predatory banks are setting their greedy sights?
Hi everybody, have you heard of Occupy Writers? I will be visiting you on Friday at noon for Occupy the Oval. I just have this fear that nobody will show up there. I want to write either a poem or a description, and it will be archived in the Occupy Writers website. They had a special about it on Democracy Now! Theo Cecil DeCelles.
Hi, keep on going. You folks are the new breed. I stopped by Occupy Missoula by the courthouse instead. The information booth there helped me come to a better understanding what it is you occupiers are doing. It takes some very dedicated, passionate and brave souls to do what you are all doing. I spoke with William Olson and got the human element. I just finished the poem and it should be posted on the Occupy Writers webpage hopefully very soon.
i don’t seem to know how to put our 5pm Tuesday’s, repeating GA at the library on the OM calendar. can someone else please give it a try….and a note could be added: come at 4pm for facilitation/agenda/pre-GA forum.
